PUNTA BONITA TAMBOR - ADVENTURE PARK
Punta Bonita in Tambor consists of 120 hectares (1,200,000 square meters or 12,916,692 square feet) of sweeping ocean views, with different types of environments like tropical secondary and primary forest, mountains and hills, two existing platforms, rivers and creeks in meddle of the land and two public road accesses on the top and on the down part, including a dramatic waterfall.
According with the land use and the existing conditions of the land the master plan goes on the Adventure Park direction, a product it offers entertainment for every kind of tourist from high to low adrenaline.
Adventure Park is a combination of air, earth and water activities like the most common as Canopy tours, also high adrenaline like Superman Cable “Vuelo del Aguila”, Hanging Bridges connected with trails and pathways for easily access, Hanging Bridges like net at 90 degrees hanging with a double cable to cross in a high of 20 meters, Rappel tours, Mountain Bike, ATV tours, paint ball games into the jungle and natural rock pools from the rivers connected with pathways and the canopy platforms; besides a several services for the tourist like Camping area, tree bungalows and a restaurant in the middle of the jungle.
The main access is located at 15minutes drive from Tambor airport and 30 minutes drive from Paquera Ferry. It offers a nice entrance with a very panoramic view of Nicoya Peninsula.
